In 2005 Mark and I, Laura, took a leap of faith ~ sold everything including the
business we were so blessed to be a part of with Mark's parents for 32 years
and moved from the central coast area of California to the Midwest.  With our
oldest son and his family, we found a wonderful piece of property in northwest
Indiana that had plenty of room for our dogs and a perfect horse facility for
our son and daughter in law to use for their well established training program.
 To our absolute joy, several months after we arrived our first grandchild,
Wyatt, was born AND our younger son & daughter in law also left the sun and
surf of CA. to join in this new adventure of a lifetime!

Our love for Retrievers began many years ago with our first Golden "Abbey".  
Knowing that one day we would move to a much larger piece of property, we
began to dream of raising dogs.  It only took a moment for us to confirm with
each other that our commitment would be with Retrievers.  What could be
better?  They are wonderful outdoor dogs -- loving to play, hunt, swim, and yet
come in the house and be a member of the family.  

Retrievers love their family.  They are happiest when they're with you, and of
course, we are happiest when we're with them!
