Our interest in Golden Labs began years ago when we started a search for a puppy to train as a Service Dog in "mobility" assistance for me. In our search we found that the major training organizations for Service work believed that the Golden Lab was among the best for this purpose. This combination of two great breeds has the calm, loving, "la~te~dah" way of looking at the world~from the Golden but the slightly more intense "zeroing in on" a need or whatever, plus the physical strength and drive of the Lab. |
